Capabilities / Technology
Built with the right tools, not the loudest ones.
A practical stack spanning frontend engineering, backend development, data, Linux operating systems, and server administration. No proficiency percentages, no invented certifications — just the technologies and the work they support.
01 — Interface
Frontend development
Semantic, responsive interfaces built with modern JavaScript and component-driven architecture.
- 01
HTML5
Semantic structure, accessible document outlines, forms, and progressive enhancement.
- 01
CSS3
Layout, responsive systems, typography, motion, and careful visual craft.
- 01
JavaScript
Modern browser APIs, application logic, async workflows, and progressive enhancement.
- 01
TypeScript
Typed application code, safer refactors, clearer interfaces, and fewer runtime surprises.
- 01
React.js
Composable interfaces, state management, accessible interactions, and reusable components.
- 01
Next.js
Hybrid rendering, routing, image optimisation, metadata, and production web delivery.
- 01
Angular
Structured frontend applications with components, services, dependency injection, and typed forms.
02 — Visual systems
Styling & UI
Design implementation with attention to hierarchy, consistency, accessibility, and maintainable style architecture.
- 02
Tailwind CSS
Utility-first styling with design tokens, responsive variants, and component-level consistency.
- 02
Bootstrap
Production-ready responsive grids, navigation, forms, and accessible interface primitives.
- 02
CSS
Custom properties, flexbox, grid, container queries, fluid type, and layered architecture.
- 02
HTML
Structured content and accessible markup designed to work with browsers and assistive technology.
- 02
Lucide React
Consistent, accessible line icons for product and portfolio interfaces.
- 02
shadcn/ui
Accessible, composable primitives adapted to a project's own visual language when appropriate.
03 — Application
Backend development
APIs, content systems, and server-side logic sized to the actual needs of a project.
- 03
Node.js
Server-side JavaScript, build tooling, APIs, and integration work.
- 03
PHP
Practical server-rendered applications, content systems, form handling, and existing-site maintenance.
- 03
Hono
Lightweight, standards-based HTTP applications suited to edge and serverless runtimes.
04 — Data
Databases
Structured storage choices made around the shape of the application, not a default stack.
- 04
MongoDB
Document storage for flexible content models and application data.
- 04
MySQL
Relational data modelling, queries, indexing, and content-heavy application backends.
- 04
PostgreSQL
Relational modelling with strong constraints, SQL features, and dependable application data.
05 — Servers
Linux operating systems
Hands-on Linux environments across the Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL family.
- 05
Debian
Stable server foundations, package management, services, and long-lived deployments.
- 05
Ubuntu
Common cloud and bare-metal environments, LTS administration, and application hosting.
- 05
AlmaLinux
RHEL-compatible server administration for teams that need enterprise Linux stability.
- 05
CentOS
Legacy and established server environments, maintenance, and migration awareness.
- 05
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
RHEL administration concepts, system services, security, and package workflows.
- 05
RHEL-based distributions
Practical support across compatible enterprise Linux variants and their operational differences.
06 — Operations
System administration & infrastructure
The unglamorous work that keeps systems reachable, recoverable, and understood.
- 06
Linux server setup
Provisioning, hardening, users, services, firewalls, web servers, and deployment foundations.
- 06
Bare-metal server setup
Installing and configuring physical servers, storage, networking, and operating systems.
- 06
Linux server administration
Ongoing maintenance, package updates, monitoring, backups, and service management.
- 06
Server troubleshooting
Diagnosing boot, networking, storage, service, and performance problems methodically.
- 06
Linux recovery & rescue
Approaching failed systems carefully, recovering access, and restoring services without guesswork.
- 06
Configuration & maintenance
Documented configuration, operational consistency, and reducing avoidable future failures.
The full picture
Software skill is only half of a reliable website.
A project can be beautifully implemented and still fail operationally. That is why this stack includes Linux distributions and the practical work around them: server setup, bare-metal infrastructure, maintenance, troubleshooting, and recovery.
The operating-system work is not presented as a list of logos. It is a working interest in understanding what is running, why it failed, and how to make the next failure less likely. For businesses, that means a website is supported by someone who can move from the interface to the machine underneath.
Technologies are selected per project. A simple content site does not need a distributed database, and a small business does not benefit from a stack its team cannot maintain.
